PCC01 is a high-performance PCI-to-PC Card Drive Unit that supports one independent card socket compliant with the 16/32-bit PC Card standard defined in 1997 PC Card Standard.
Povides a rich feature set that makes it the best choice for bridging between PCI and PC Card in desktop computers.
Compliant with the 16-bit PC Card specification defines in PCMCIA Release 2.1 and JEIDA 4.2 and can supports any combination of 16-bit or 32-bit PC Card in the one socket, powered at 5V or 3.3V as required.
The host system interface of PCC01 is compliant with the PCI Local Bus specification 2.2.
PCC01 is register set compatible with Intel 82365SL controller and compatible with ExCA, it enables the PCC01 to support almost all of the PC Card applications including: SRAM card, Linear Flash card, ATA Flash card, Modem card and Wireless 3G/Modem/LAN card.(Panasonic P2 Card; recommended for the Dexis Digital X-Ray System)

Hardware Setup
1. Power off your computer
2. Install the PCI adapter into PCI Slot
3 Install the PCC01 PC Card Reader into the 3.5” driver bay

XP/Vista CardBus Drivers Information
Drivers are automatically installed by the Windows when it recognizes a PC Card slot at installation, but often not installed if it doesn't. Typically these drivers are not present on a desktop system since most customers add a PCI to PC Card drive reader well after Windows software is installed on a system.
If you have a retail CD-ROM of the Windows XP/Vista installation disk, then this isn't an issue since simply inserting the CD-ROM during the new hardware found routine will allow Windows to find and install the correct drivers. However, many end users purchase computers from large vendors with Windows XP/Vista pre-installed and the CD-ROM they get with their system isn't a full copy of Windows (a restore disk) although they paid in full for Windows. In this case the end users needs to contact their system vendor and tell them that they need the "signed Microsoft Windows XP/Vista drivers for the R5C485, R5C486, R5C843, or PCI1510" depending on which controller their PC Card drive reader uses. The drivers may already be on a system in "C:\\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\pcmcia.sys", and instructing the installation routine to that file may help.
